Founding Director of the ELDR Institute and Lead Information Architect of ELDR Group. Over 18 years of practitioner experience across AI governance, cybersecurity documentation, enterprise content strategy, and regulated documentation ecosystems.
Richard Jones Onyeneho is the Founding Director of the ELDR Institute and the Principal Lead on ELDR Group's advisory and documentation practice. With over 18 years of practitioner experience across Fortune 500 enterprises, federal agencies, and regulated financial institutions, Onyeneho has led documentation architecture and governance programs at institutions including HSBC, TransUnion, Wells Fargo through Capgemini, SAP, ServiceNow, Advanced Micro Devices, Mastercard, PricewaterhouseCoopers, TD Bank, Fiserv, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
His practitioner depth spans the full governance documentation stack: from NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act implementation for enterprise AI programs, through ISO 27001 ISMS certification preparation, FedRAMP ATO support, FRTB methodology documentation, medical device documentation under FDA 21 CFR and EU MDR, and S1000D-compliant aviation technical publications.
Onyeneho founded the ELDR Institute to formalize what 18 years of practitioner engagement had demonstrated: that governance documentation is not a compliance cost — it is the institutional infrastructure that separates organizations that survive regulatory examination from those that do not. The Institute exists to make that infrastructure accessible to practitioners who need it.
