ELDR Consulting

Transformation Consultant

Lead enterprise transformation programmes for regulated institutions — spanning governance modernisation, technology implementation, and operational change across complex, multi-jurisdiction environments.

Level: Senior (8–15 Years) Type: Full-Time · Hybrid Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

About the Role

ELDR Consulting delivers implementation-focused work: taking strategies, governance frameworks, and technology mandates and executing them with discipline and institutional rigour. The Transformation Consultant leads complex change programmes for financial institutions, regulated enterprises, and government bodies — managing workstreams, coordinating cross-functional delivery teams, and maintaining programme integrity through the full lifecycle of transformation. This is a senior role for a seasoned consultant who can command client confidence, navigate ambiguity, and drive delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end enterprise transformation programmes across governance modernisation, technology implementation, and operational change mandates
  • Define programme scope, structure workstreams, establish governance cadence, and manage interdependencies across complex multi-team environments
  • Manage client relationships at senior and executive levels — progress reporting, issue escalation, and strategic alignment
  • Oversee production of transformation deliverables including current-state assessments, target operating models, implementation roadmaps, and change management plans
  • Coordinate with ELDR's Technology, Advisory, and Intelligence practices to integrate cross-functional expertise into programme delivery
  • Identify and manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies with structured problem-solving and escalation frameworks
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts embedded in delivery programmes

Requirements

  • 8–15 years of experience in management consulting, enterprise programme management, or internal transformation leadership
  • Proven track record leading complex transformation programmes in regulated environments — financial services, healthcare, government, or technology
  • Strong executive presence and client management capability — comfort at C-suite and board level
  • Structured programme governance expertise: risk logs, RAID registers, steering committee reporting, and milestone management
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred
  • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent programme management certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, or comparable enterprise system transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with regulatory-driven transformation environments — Basel III/IV, DORA, OSFI B-10, or FFIEC
  • Prior Big 4, tier-1 consultancy, or major financial institution transformation programme experience

What We Offer

  • Programme leadership on marquee client mandates across Canada, the U.S., and internationally
  • A senior role in a rapidly growing consulting practice with institutional client relationships
  • Competitive compensation with performance-linked structure
  • Flexibility to shape how ELDR's consulting delivery practice grows
